The Parochial Church Council (PCC) is responsible for the governance of our church, and the Deanery Synod supports matters that concern churches across the Deanery including promoting the mission of the church.

These volunteer positions are elected by the congregation once a year at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) each April. Each PCC member is a trustee, expected to be an active participant in church life and bring their skills and experience to the work of St Anne’s.

Each member sits on either the Fabric and Finance or Ministry and Mission committee in addition to attending regular PCC meetings. Deanery Synod members attend three synod meetings a year and sit on the PCC. Every member is responsible for completing safeguarding training and a DBS check.
