Services
At 8am on Sunday mornings we have a quiet, said Eucharist that lasts for about 40 minutes followed by coffee in the church hall for all who wish to stay.
At 10am on Sunday mornings we have a larger, sung Eucharist with worship led by our choir. On the first Sunday in the month our Junior Choir joins the main choir. Everyone is welcome in the church hall for coffee or tea after the service.
You can also join services online via our Facebook page.
The Messenger and Order of Service are available for you to follow along.
Little Annies, our Sunday School for children aged three to 11, meets every Sunday at 10am. Little Annies arrive in church for the start of the service and leave for their own activities after the Collect, returning for the blessing and final part of our service. Parents are welcome to join younger children.
At 6.30pm on the first Sunday of each month we have traditional Choral Evensong with singing by professional musicians and generally with a visiting preacher.
During the year we hold other services of celebration and reflection. Details are available on the calendar.
Morning prayer
Morning prayer takes place online every weekday at 8.30am when a group of the congregation meet to say the daily office–the morning prayer for the day.
First communion and confirmation
Children who are interested in participating more fully in the life of the church are prepared for First Communion with a series of weekly talks and activities. Admission to communion takes place annually.
Older children and adults may wish to be admitted to the sacrament of confirmation in which baptismal vows made on a child’s behalf by parents and godparents are reaffirmed by individuals as adults. Confirmation takes place following a course of preparation.
Anyone interested in first communion or confirmation please contact the vicar through the church office.
